N95 Mask Distribution Drive at Government School – Tiruvallur

In Tiruvallur District, our IPDA NGO conducted an N95 Mask Distribution Drive at Alamathi Government Model Higher Secondary School. In view of the fourth wave of COVID-19 and the rising number of cases across Tamil Nadu and Chennai, this initiative was undertaken to safeguard students’ health while ensuring the continuity of their education.

As a preventive measure, each student was provided with 10 sets of N95 masks. In total, around 4,000 N95 masks were distributed during the school camp. Special priority was given to students of Classes 10, 11, and 12, who were preparing to appear for their public examinations.

In addition to the distribution, a COVID-19 awareness session was conducted, during which government-issued safety guidelines and preventive measures were explained to the students. The session was led by our Founder and President, Mr. A. Kumar, B.Sc., M.A., on 06-01-2023.
