Caring for Vision and Wellness: IPDA’s Health Screening Camp

Updated: Dec 29, 2025

On 22 June 2022, the Integrated People’s Development Association (IPDA) successfully organized a General Health and Eye Screening Camp for company employees at the workplace premises.

The camp aimed to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness about the importance of eye care and overall health. Experienced doctors and trained volunteers participated in the program.

During the session, volunteers provided an orientation on proper eye care, emphasizing that regular eye washing can help prevent eye-related ailments. Employees were also advised not to rub their eyes harshly, as it may lead to infections and long-term damage.

The medical team conducted a comprehensive health check-up, which included:

  • Blood Pressure (BP) measurement

  • Height and Weight assessment

  • Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation

  • Random Blood Sugar Test

  • General medical consultation

A total of 150 employees participated in the camp and benefited from free health screenings and medical guidance. The initiative was well received and helped employees understand the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and regular health check-ups.

Through such health initiatives, IPDA continues its commitment to promoting health awareness and preventive care among working communities.
